This notice explains, in plain language, what happens to personal data when you visit Yavida or use our contact form. Yavida operates as an educational website and is not part of any group that shares data across affiliated companies.

When you use our contact form, we process the name, email address, subject and message you provide. Because the form sends via your own email client using a mailto link, that information travels through your device's mail provider rather than being stored on our server as a database entry. We also process limited technical data through cookies, described fully in our cookie policy, where consent categories apply.
We rely on your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Sb. on the processing of personal data, for non-essential cookies. We rely on legitimate interest, under Article 6(1)(f), for replying to enquiries you send us directly, since responding to a question you initiated is a reasonable and expected use of that information.
Email correspondence is generally kept only as long as needed to answer your question and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up, typically no longer than twenty-four months. Cookie consent preferences are stored for up to one hundred eighty days before being requested again.
We do not sell or rent personal data. Limited technical processors, such as our hosting and email service providers, may handle data strictly to keep the website and mail functioning, under their own applicable data protection obligations. We do not use personal data for automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, and request portability where technically applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
